The Kings have received a significant update on Domantas Sabonis.

The play between Draymond Green and Domantas Sabonis in Game 2 of the series between the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings was the most interesting.

Sabonis, who was on the ground, grabbed and held Green's foot. In response, Green stomped on Sabonis.

Green received a Flagrant 2 and was ejected from the game. During the fight, Sabonis was hit.

Green's suspension for Game 3 on Thursday was announced to the Warriors and the rest of the NBA on Tuesday night. Even though the Sabonis news was not good, it was much better.

ESPN's Marc J. Spears tweeted that Sabonis' status for Game 3 is unknown. Sabonis is a big reason Sacramento has done so well in the series so far.

He didn't score much in Game 1. He shot 5-for-17 from the field and finished with only 12 points. He did, however, grab 16 boards and steal three balls.

He scored 24 points in Game 2 by going 8 for 12 from the field and from the free-throw line. Sabonis also grabbed nine rebounds and passed four times.

Because the Kings are already up 2-0 in the series, they can take their time with Sabonis.

He is, however, an important part of Sacramento's offense and defense. As a result, if he has to miss time, his presence (or lack thereof) will be felt.
