The Golden State Warriors defeated the Sacramento Kings 120-100 in Game 7 of their first-round playoff series on Sunday afternoon at the Golden 1 Center.
With the victory, they have won the series and will face the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.
The Warriors have struggled on the road all season (11-30 in regular season), yet they were able to win Games 5 and 7 in Sacramento.
Steph Curry's performance was a big reason they were able to win on Sunday. The two-time MVP exploded for 50 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and one steal on 20/38 shooting.
Curry finished the series averaging 33.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game while shooting 48.8% from the floor.
The Warriors struggled against the Lakers during the regular season, going 1-3 in four meetings.
Curry appeared in two of those games, averaging 30.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game (the Warriors were 0-1 in those games).
