Oakland A's agree to purchase land near Las Vegas Strip

On Wednesday night, Oakland Athletics president Dave Kaval announced that ,

The Las Vegas Strip in order to build a major league ballpark.

Red Rock Resorts, the parent company of Station Casinos,

Has entered into the arrangement for a 49-acre plot of land.

As reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Kaval has stated that a $1.5 billion,

35,000-seat stadium with a partially retractable roof will be constructed on the site,

With additional amenities like restaurants and an amphitheater also being considered.
