McDavid on Playoff Scoring: "I Couldn't Care Less About Points" McDavid on Playoff Scoring: "I Couldn't Care Less About Points"

Connor McDavid finished the 2022/23 NHL regular season with 153 points, however he has only one assist in two playoff games against the Los Angeles Kings.

His lack of scoring has already piqued the interest of Edmonton media and fans, with some suspecting the Oilers' captain is sick or ill,

and others asking where his offensive spark has gone.Leon Draisaitl has five points in two games and has been the most dangerous player on both sides.

So, what's the issue if Draisaitl and McDavid are scoring but McDavid isn't? Right now, there is no response.

The tight-checking Kings have done an excellent job of slowing McDavid down. If this trend continues, it's reasonable to wonder what's going on.

While McDavid has stated that he would like to contribute more offensively, he is just concerned with winning the series,

which is now knotted 1-1. He went on to say that he believes it's only a matter of time,

and that everyone involved with the Oilers and supporting for them hopes that's the case.
