Ja Morant's Hand Injury Update

Adrian Wojnarowski said that there is "significant doubt" that Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant will be able to play in Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

When asked about his hand injury after Game 1, Morant was upset and said, "It's hard, man. After everything I've been through this season, it's even more true.

The most important thing for me was to be there for my guys. Another thing that pretty much puts that in danger."

Morant also said, "I'll do anything to try to be on the floor for my team. All that matters is how much pain I can handle.

I'll probably play if I feel like I can mostly be myself out there. But if they don't, I don't want to hurt the team by doing anything."

Ja Morant's status for Game 2 is uncertain because he hurt his wrist (SportsGrid). Because he hurt his hand, Ja Morant might not be able to play in Game 2.

If Morant has to miss time in this series, it doesn't look like the Memphis Grizzlies will be able to beat the Los Angeles Lakers.

This season, the Grizzlies have won without Morant, but a championship series is very different from a set of regular season games.

This is especially true when playing a team like the Lakers, which has two of the best players in the NBA in LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Morant is tough and will do everything he can to get back on the court, but when a player is hurt, there is only so much they can do.
