Aaron Rodgers has been forewarned by Michael Strahan in New York

Michael Strahan wants to see how Aaron Rodgers handles the famed New York limelight.

The 51-year-old Giants legend appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Thursday.

Strahan told Fallon that Rodgers might not fit in New York. Strahan remarked, “I don’t know if Aaron Rodgers and the media [fit]. “Our media is guilty until proven innocent.

“They don’t like you—you have to make them like you and I think he comes in already off darkness retreat, so they’ll be like, ‘You know, this guy...’

“I think they’ll probably give him a little benefit of the doubt, but they’re looking. So it'll be interesting to see how he handles the New York media, which can't be tamed.

After Rodgers criticized NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport on "The Pat McAfee Show" in February,

Strahan's former teammate Tiki Barber wondered if Rodgers was too "sensitive" for the nation's biggest market.
